WELCOME TO CITY HARVEST!

City Harvest Ministries (CHM) is registered under the Societies Act of Kenya. CHM was established in 2000 as an itinerary evangelistic initiative to help churches evangelise and engage in community empowerment projects with the aim of alleviating poverty and human suffering.

The evangelistic efforts of CHM led to the establishment of City Harvest Church in 2003. This is now among the fast growing independent non-denomination congregation in the City of Nairobi, Kenya. With 200 members at present, the church has become a basis for holistic ministry, serving the body of Christ, especially the poor and vulnerable.

These are such that make up the 65% of Kenya’s population, living on less than a dollar a day. CHM is located along Langata Road, near the Mbagathi Way Junction. This is less than eight hundred meters from Kibera slums, the largest informal settlement housing the city’s poorest without basic infrastructure such as clean water, sewerage system, electricity and access roads.
